In one sentence – what does your job entail?

Staying organized and keeping one step ahead of everyone.

What inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

I’ve been told I’m persistent when I want something done (that’s a nice way of saying I’m good at nagging). So I found a career that works well with my strength.

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?

Build a network and ask lots of questions. Technology and tools for the job are constantly changing, do your best to stay on top of the current trends.

What is something that might surprise us about you?

I’m a grandma – I know, hard to believe, right!

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

My son and daughter – I think they turned out to be pretty great humans.

What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?

Indoors, I enjoy cooking. Outdoors, I enjoy hiking and riding bikes on a rail trail or greenway.

When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?

Taking a walk around NoDa or campus. Or, just sitting quietly dreaming about what I could do if I had more time.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Whistle – I’ve never been able to do it.
